Reading Paul's Bible

Introduction

Many times, as we read the Bible and the things captured by those men inspired by God, we fail to know the actual men that were responsible for doing all the writing. So, tonight’s lesson is intended to reveal the world of Paul so we might understand the biblical understanding he had concerning the world he lived in.

Have you ever thought about the Bible Paul read? Which Bible did he read? Which Bible did he use to inspire the message of his own writing? How did he use this Bible to communicate the message of his writings?

There are a few things we should understand about Paul and every primitive believer. They lived in a world influenced by:

Judaism

Greece

Rome

Christianity

These four worlds existed simultaneously and would intersect from time to time.
