In this sermon we consider what 1 Peter has to say about growing in Christlikeness by way of subtraction. God's Word not only speaks about how believers are to live, but also how we are not to live. Though some would call these things moralism, or legalism, they are not because these commands come from the same Savior who saved us by Grace. In 1 Peter 2:1-3 we taste & see the goodness of the Lord through His calling of us to cast off sinful attitudes of the heart, & become spiritual grown-ups!
