Psalm 27 NKJV
A Psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. 7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” 9 Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10 When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me. 11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. 12 Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. 13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

1 Chronicles 29:9 NKJV
9 Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly.
Matthew 4:23–25 NKJV
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. 25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

What it says:

Matthew 4:23 NKJV

Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues.

What does it Mean?

Verse 23
Jesus was TEACHER & PREACHER! Teaching deals with the understanding the truth. preaching is building to an inspiration toward a commitment.
you can do both at the same time however often it is better to separate the two. I try to do more teaching on Wednesday nights, more inspiration and encouragement on Sunday night & both on Sunday morning.
What did He preach or teach? The Gospel of the Kingdom.
What is the Gospel of the Kingdom? The “good news” was that the kingdom of heaven had arrived. It was customary to invite visiting rabbis like Jesus to speak, but Jesus’ earthshaking message and powerful miracles (healing every disease and sickness among the people in each village) set him apart from the others. Barton, B. B. (1996). Matthew (p. 71). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers.
Verse 24
As the Kingdom and the ministry of the King smacked the world in the face, the fame of Christ spread and so did His ministry.
His Ministry spreed to, all Syria. it is likely that that Syria is north of Galilee. indicating that Jesus’ fame had spread beyond the borders of Palestine. The Romans used “Syria” to refer to all of Palestine, except for the region of Galilee, which was under the independent administration of Herod Antipas. Thus, Jesus’ fame spread through Galilee and throughout all of Palestine.Barton, B. B. (1996). Matthew (p. 71). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers.
His supernatural Ministry increased:
they brought those who where afflicted with various diseases.
Pain.
Demoniac.
He healed them.
Verse 25
Matthew Jesus Preaches Throughout Galilee / 4:23–25 / 36

Large crowds came to Jesus from all over the region of Galilee where Jesus was concentrating his ministry.

Matthew Jesus Preaches Throughout Galilee / 4:23–25 / 36

“The Decapolis” refers to a league of ten Gentile cities east of the Sea of Galilee that had joined together for trade and mutual defense.

Matthew Jesus Preaches Throughout Galilee / 4:23–25 / 36

“The region across the Jordan” most likely refers also to Gentile territory. The city of Jerusalem was in the region of Judea. People came from this region to the south as well as from its leading city.

Matthew Jesus Preaches Throughout Galilee / 4:23–25 / 36

The news about Jesus was out, and Jews and Gentiles were coming long distances to hear him.

Matthew Jesus Preaches Throughout Galilee / 4:23–25 / 36

The words “followed him” may or may not refer to becoming disciples. Some simply followed him from place to place to hear him speak and see his miracles. Some who followed surely also came to believe in him, accepting the Good News about the kingdom.

What do we do with it?

We should have a desire that Men come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. far to many Christians come to church as if we are listed on a website called Christian Tingle .com.
1 Timothy 2:4 “4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
2 Peter 3:9 “9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
God still heals today ! God still Delivers Today! God is still on the move today!
James 5:14 “14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 12:28 “28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.”
many people don’t like the gifts because of the disorderly way that people practice them! this is not of God. just as a gift can be spirit led it can be lead by the flesh as well! 1 Corinthians 14:40 “40 Let all things be done decently and in order.”
God does not always heal!
2 Corinthians 12:7–10 NKJV
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
