We come to our passage today in Genesis.

And that's what we're going to watch unspool today, as we looked at a Genesis chapter 29, 1 through 30 verse 24.

So as we go into this, we are going to see the the events unfold and Jacob's life and the ramifications that come with it.
Some of it is comical, much of it is Grievous.
I was I was talking to my boys this morning and in Caleb is every Saturday and I I realize I'm a little dating a lot more than I realize.

The boys are like another one of those.

You can approach it and find passionate love, you can find Adventure, you can find gaming and in wars and, and poetry and wisdom.

Because John's word deals with life real life and many in this room have sought after love.

Remember, Jacob is leaving.

In the pursuit of law of finding a wife.

And is his servant as he pursued that pursuit in a very Godly manner.
We see very similar things.
But we also see some stark contrast as we look at Jacobs Pursuit.
As as the servant pursued in a wife for Isaac.
We see him.
Fervently pursuing God in prayer and supplication.
Jacob has has had that experience with the Lord and Bethel talk with God at Bethel.
but, you know, as as the events unfold way, we don't see prayer as intimately involved in in what occurs when no doubt in the writer is clear to show that there is God's fingerprint guys working and guiding as eating in the pursuit of And if we find him in the opening verse versus 129 BC that there's a bunch of Shepherds that are coming together, and they're gathering around.
This was difficult.
This is how they watered their sheep and the Shepherds when they're just there waiting.
There's this rock and it's interesting in the passage.
It keeps mentioning this large rock, this massive rock that covers this rock that they waited to move to everybody got their that covered the well, it just says it over and over.
You get the idea of this rock is in central here.
Okay, it's big.
And all these shepherds are just kind of the hair with this gathered together.
And typically, you didn't do that.
So the evening time, you got those, the sheets together in the evenings and the shepherd's would all be together in and they would be protected but this was middle of the day at the well, nobody's doing anything.
They're just waiting.
These like is interesting as well.
As we see this, we give Glenn Jacobs work ethic.
