He is here to help

Psalm 43:1, “God is our crefuge and strength,
a very dpresent2 help in trouble.
He is here to help:
you are able and you need to be asking him, what he is trying to speak to you in your circumstance
you don’t want to waste your circumstance, even if it is a difficult time.
you are to be searching to know what he is trying to lead you in, in your circumstance.
Matthew 20:30-33 says, “And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David! The crowd prebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” 32 And stopping, Jesus called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” 33 They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34 And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.”
Jesus does pass by people. And some people miss him.
What would have happened if these blind men, on the side of the road, did not cry out to God?
What would have happened if these blind men on the side of the road, presumed that God must do something, without them doing their part?
What was it that Jesus was trying to teach people as he walked by?
What was it that Jesus was trying to teach the blind men?

Getting to know him

Psalm 46:2-3, “Therefore we will not fear fthough the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into gthe heart of the sea,
though hits waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
Verse 2 begins by saying “therefore”. Another way of saying therefore, is to say something like, “So”. That means the following words are determined as a decision about the former.
BECAUSE God is here, something will happen.
The issue here is that you need to get to know God. You need to get to know this God, who in the middle of your circumstance(s) is here. Just like the blind men. Why is God causing these, or permitting these situations to happen in the world? You need to get to know this God. Seek him, and cry out to him, like the blind men, so that you don’t miss him. So that he doesn’t pass you by, and you miss out on your opportunities.
Example: 1 Peter 1:6-9 “6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Will you get to know him and trust him?
Psalm 46 says, “this God is here, so we will therefore not fear, even if there are uphevals. Though huge problems come our way, we will keep trusting in Christ.”
Is this the kind of faith you have?

Making God known by your faith

If you really know God, you will know that it’s all about his exultation
If you really know God you will know that it’s about his name being known in all the earth, and that he acts in the world for the sake of his name.
If you know God you will make him your fortress, and you will be able to watch and see his works.
There are wars, there are also wars that God permits, and causes, and he also has the power to stop wars, and to end them completely. Sometimes he just lets things happen. People are in the middle of it.
so what is your job?
your job is to get to know God and to make him your refuge, and your tower.
When people are able to see your faith in God, and to see that there is a difference and that you really know God and have made him your refuge, they will see the difference and your life will be able to be a testimony for God for them.
CONCLUDING REMARKS:
Pray and ask and seek the Lord so that you may know him better
Pray for the salvation of others, who don’t know Jesus yet.
Your need is to grow, and to not fall by the way. More people fall away than keep their faith in Christ. Don’t be the casuality. Be the one who stands firm.
God bless.
