of the 4 we keep, John is the only one that doesn’t really share much with the other 3

Luke is writing one of the earliest accounts, one of the most factually informed accounts, and one of the most sincere accounts of the Christ

The birth was a concerning moment in the community

Zechariah hasn’t been able to speak for 9 months

Application

Luke has a lot of story to tell and its fun to see it all

the one who came to prepare the way for the LORD has an interesting back story

Birth stories are important

God’s plan is revealed in the details and there is more than a little bit of peace to be found in the measures that he takes to bring us back to him

This is how far he will go for all that he created
