Strengths- Visionary, Inspirational, preaching

Weaknesses- Dealing with details, Patience, Sensitivity

List Blind Spots- if you know what they are then they are not blind spots

Character Blind Spots

An area of blindness that ya restricts the vision to see properly

Illustration- When you get up to preach you can see the people your addressing but you cant see yourself. If you have a mark on your face others will see but you wont.

Some will say something others will secretly even mock and laugh at you.

Illustration- curly hair the hair dressers straightened it and I thought I looked a million dollars.

Peka saw it and laughed at me and told me i look terrible.

I was hurt, embarrassed and annoyed at her all at the same time.

Pride, Insecurity and being Unteachable protect blind spots

Leaders with blind spots are dangerous to others around them.

The Beam & The Speck

Matthew 7:1-5 NKJV

1““Judge not, that you be not judged.

2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Plank- holding up a beam

observe fully: - behold, consider, discover, perceive.

The beam was hindering the ability to see or perceive properly. It created blind spots in the vision of the person.
