Who wrote 1 Peter and When?
The Apostle Peter
Probably around AD 64-68
Who was it written to?
Seems like it was written to a bunch of people scattered across the known world.
Some question on whether it was just to Jewish Christians or Gentile Christians, but some of the textual evidence seems to support both.
Peter references some noticeable Jewish names/titles, but He also talks about pagan worship and practices that would be familiar to the Gentile Christians.

Living out a Christ-like life
Holiness in a world that doesn’t like holiness
Relationship to the Church and the world.
