Q - With 2 Timothy 2:15 in mind, how would you explain how one should rightly divide the word with scriptural references?

New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 2)
14 Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. 16 But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 1)
19 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger;
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 19)
23 ‘When you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. Three years it shall be forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten. 24 ‘But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD. 25 ‘In the fifth year you are to eat of its fruit, that its yield may increase for you; I am the LORD your God.

27 ‘You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard.

28 ‘You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.

Orthos - Meaning to cut a path, or “To shape rightly”

Q - Does God’s word give us a directive, command or circumstance to STOP praying for someone? (1 John 5:16)

New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 5)
16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this.
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 1)
5 This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 1)
8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (Chapter 6)
4 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, bsince they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
