FLOW IN THE GIFTS

INTRODUCTION.

Imagine this

YOU THE ANOINTED, GENEROUS, HOLY BELIEVER.

Place your head down on your pillow every single night,

Knowing you are deeply in love with Jesus, and you bringing many people to Jesus.

You a growing a healthy Christian,

You have found freedom from past hurt

You use your gifts to impact and bring transformation in peoples life,

You know have made a difference in some’s life,

Jesus wants us to live a life where we live out His will for our lives.

Once we do that we are living the dream.

God has made us on purpose for a purpose,

and we need to discover our purpose to live our dream out.

Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) If people can’t see what God is doing,

they stumble all over themselves;

But when they attend to what he reveals,

they are most blessed.

Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

There is a call on our lives for all of us to make disciples. AGREE?

However, we can’t really be an effective disciples if we don’t know what is God process with our lives.

When i went to university at wits, I enjoyed the experience of everything. It was a world of information.

But I took a clear path to study

A unique track

Agree

and then I left and worked in the track.

Being a disciple and making a disciple is similar.

We need to find our track,

Basically, we need to discover our gifts and use them in team to make disciples.

,

And we cant really disciple people if,

Psa 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Eph 1:15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,

Eph 1:16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,

Eph 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

Eph 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

There are 4 steps Jesus wants us to know in order to make a difference,

and as a believer, it is good to know where people are at in their life to help them along to their next step and to help us relax and stop judging and criticising people.

We want to know God’s path with our lives and then we want to figure out our next step and then we want to help everyone else on their next step.

Know Christ make Him known.

Finding freedom from the past.

Discovery purpose.

Make a difference join a dream team.

People in our church are in one of those steps-,with the help of a dream team leader.

1. We need a whole bunch of people that have just responded to Christ.

2. Then we need a whole bunch of people who are finding freedom from something.

( This can take longer for some people or quick everyone is different. )

3. Then we need a whole bunch of people discovering their gifts.

4. Then we need a whole bunch of people joining, and serving in a dream team.

We need to look and say huh, I am maybe on steps 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Or this person is on steps 1,2,3,,4,

Let’s go through see to steps in detail.

KNOW JESUS, MAKE HIM KNOWN.

Jesus wants us to know him personally, not just in our heads but in our hearts.l.

We need to have a revelation of who Jesus is and become His follower.

WHY? Should I grow in my relationship with Jesus? John 10:10

The first step is to receive Christ, the second step is to grow in my relationship with Jesus while telling others about Jesus.

Jesus makes His will very clear to us, that is to give us life and give it in abundance, agree?

Jesus also makes it very clear what the will of the enemy is and that is to kill, steal and destroy.

Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.

When we stop growing in our relationship with Jesus, we stop following Jesus and start to lose our way, we start to lose our life and we go into deception.

Deu 11:13 If you faithfully obey the commands that I'm giving you today, love the LORD your God, and serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deu 11:14 I will send rain on your land at the right time, both in the fall and in the spring. Then you will gather your own grain, new wine, and olive oil.

Deu 11:15 I will provide grass in the fields for your animals, and you will be able to eat all you want.

Deu 11:16 Be careful, or you'll be tempted to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.

HOW? Do we grow in our relationships with Jesus?

Worship Jesus every day,

Ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him better.

Stay in His word,

Stay in community,

Develop a robust prayer life,

Break bread with other believers,

and share Christ with other people.

Place in your diary some non-negotiables.

Small group

Cooperate prayer meeting

Sunday celebration.

THE NEXT STEP ONCE WE RECEIVE CHRIST IS VERY IMPORTANT point 2 find Freedom.

FIND FREEDOM.

We need to find freedom from our past hurts, we need to be free on the inside of us.

There are things inside us that affect us from moving onto the next steps which is discovery purpose.

Everybody has a lens through which they look at life and this lens is normally of our past.

We project everything through this less.

You looking at me through your lens of the past, your past hurt, your past troubles or past victories.

We need to allow Jesus to personally heal our heart by His Spirit it,

Some people need freedom from?

Addictions, pain, hurt, unforgiveness.

The mud that life throws on our hearts, we need it cleaned.up by the Holy Spirit ( WE HAVE A COURSE FOR THAT CALLED FIX IT)

We cant see our tomorrow if our glasses are filled with the mud of the past, clean the pain of yesterday to see the joy of the future.

Every one of us needs to become the best version of ourselves, there is that one thing we battle with that one addiction that one secret that we have only told God about.

Freedom is a journey a road travelled, the same as bondage is a journey around travelled

There re-clear steps, the bible has marked out for us to find freedom,

For some, this is good news for you others this might be challenging news for you.

We go to God for forgiveness but God wants us to go to God’s people for healing,

Jas 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

1Co 15:33 Don't let anyone deceive you. Associating with bad people will ruin decent people.

Take the next step pray and look at getting involved in a small group, if you don’t fit in that small group go try another small group that is in our church, you still don’t fit in let’s talk maybe you need to start one.

If you in a small group take the next step, peel the mask off and open up about that one thing that is a problem to you,

The leader will probably so oh, I also battling let’s pray.

This is uncomfortable, and remember the enemy wants to keep you silent as he knows you will get freedom.

Get involved in a small group

Open up to a leader

Or start a small group ( If you living in freedom)

Once we find the freedom and settle our yesterday once and for all with the help of the Holy Spirit we move on to step 3.

3 . DISCOVERY PURPOSE.

Psa 92:12 The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Psa 92:13 They are planted in the house of the LORD; they flourish in the courts of our God.

Psa 92:14 They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green,

1Pe 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:

They did a study that 87 % of churchgoers do not know what part of the body they are.

That means about 87 % or not living the dream.

The truth is we all have gifts that are unique to us. If we do not use those gifts we will end up pursuing other things in life that do, not give us true fulfilment.

Your gift will make an impact in the body and will give you a sense of satisfaction.

The amazing truth is this once i know my purpose then i am free of comparing and competing I am free of jealously and I can stand on the side celebrating others as they use their gifts as I know my gifts.

We need to remind ourselves that we all are made by God on purpose for a purpose.

We tap into divine purpose, we have a higher calling we live for eternity on earth.

Eph 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

This calling is not an individual calling it is a community calling where we function in a team, which brings me to step 4.

You have a gift unique to you, Jesus wants you to us it.

You have an anointing to function which leads me to my next point all functioning needs to be done in the team..

4. MAKE A DIFFERENCE JOIN OUR TEAM:

Joh 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

Every person has a function in the church and an anointing that goes with it that is unique to you and only you and we need those gifts to be unlocked in this body so that we can disciple the nations

Jesus needs you to function, Jesus wants you to function in your anointing take your place in this body.
