Luke 1:26–37 CSB
26 In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And the angel came to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you.” 29 But she was deeply troubled by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be. 30 Then the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. 33 He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.” 34 Mary asked the angel, “How can this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?” 35 The angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 And consider your relative Elizabeth—even she has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called childless. 37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Many don’t want to conceive for many reasons. Some say its too expensive. Some say its too much of a responsibility. Others say the world is a dangerous place to bring a child. Some say that they are too young to become a parent. The main reason stems from fear.

1. Don’t be afraid you will conceive

The first trimester is the most crucial to your baby's development. During this period, your baby's body structure and organ systems develop. Most miscarriages and birth defects occur during this period. Your body also undergoes major changes during the first trimester.
When my wife told me that we were expecting, I did not have much of a reaction. It was not because I was not excited and happy. Too many emotions ran through my mind. We wanted to have children. We were married almost two years and we were not able to go from conception to delivery. One of the emotions was fear. I did not want my wife to miscarry. I did not want to get my hopes high and be let down. When the day came that her water bag broke, she said, “I think my water broke” I said, “what do you mean you think? It did or it didn’t?” She confirmed it did. I was afraid and thought I don’t know if I’m ready (I may have said that out loud). We had plans that day.
Some of the causes of miscarriages are:
Malnutrition
Lifestyle factors; smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs
Exposure to environmental and workplace hazards
Diseases
We need to be aware of what God is doing
The first trimester brings many changes
When you conceive a miracle (God is about to do something in and/or through you) you will experience many major changes
You must be strong and courageous after conception
Watch what you eat
Be careful who you hang with

2. What you carry will be great

You will know that what you carry will be great because of the opposition
If you don’t have challenges, chances are, you are not carrying anything
Start acting like where you are going
If you believe God is going to heal you, start acting healed
Don’t give life to negativity
Your tongue has the power of life and death
Don’t speak life to negativity
When the doctors give you a negative report; speak faith
You need full term faith at every stage not just at the beginning
What you will experience will be great
You must keep hope alive
You must stay focused
Feed yourself healthy nutrients
When the doctors gave me bad news, it did affect me; however, I would give it to God and He would remind me of His promise

3. The Holy Spirit will empower you

We need the Holy Spirit for this journey
We must repent to receive the Holy Spirit
We must live by the Spirit
We must walk in the Spirit
You will not miscarry this miracle because the Holy Spirit is with you
When doubt tries to creep in, fan into flame the gift
Remember the Promise
Pray for the Promise
Imagine yourself in the Promise
Speak the Promise
Act like if you are in the Promise
Be prepared for the Promise

4. Nothing is impossible for God

Nothing means nothing
No thing can be unless God says it is
No is only no when God says No
When God says yes, it is yes even if everyone says no
If you can’t see it; you are in a good place for a miracle
When others are saying it is over; you are in a good place for a miracle
If no one has seen it; you are in a good place for a miracle
Be the first
Be the miracle
Keep the faith Full Term

5. Be strong and courageous to see the miracle

Time to deliver your miracle
Stop talking and start pushing
Be strong—don’t let the opposition keep you from your miracle
Be courageous—don’t let the magnitude of the battle keep you from your miracle
You are well equipped to see this miracle
You are enough for the miracle
God is for you—you are enough
God is for you—you are more than a conqueror
God is for you—you are victorious
God is for you—step into your miracle
God is for you—you are blessed
God is for you—stay the course
