“STAFF: 8AM CULTURE”
1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load.
6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
So - 8am culture - what is it?
Q: How do you build a service that defies all the odds?
In every sense really - that’s early and means a whole new team spirit and growth.
Well I believe we have the answer.
It’s the very same culture we want to see built across all of our services.
8am culture is OUR CULTUre.
8am culture is 9.15 culture
Is 11.15am culture.
It’s our mid week culture.
Its the Exciting Vibrant Cultire that we have.
1.ITS FAITH FILLED.
it already has a large heart about it
Were adding an 8am becuase we have FAITH.
Faith to see MANY people find HOME in church!
**my faith Goal for the 8am is 150-200 people.
2.Focused on PEOPLE.
Making room is making room.
It’s important that we open up space and get these things in place
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
But we’re focused on the people who ARE there.
Not allowing a lower number / a lower vibe.
LETS LIFT THE ROOM NOT LOWER TO THE ROOM. The 8am is where we “SET THE TONE” for the rest of the day.
IF there is 20 people or 120 people - We set the tone. We understand that its blessing people no matter what
3.ITS INTENTIONAL.
One thing i think is really required in the 8am. we have to be intentionally TALKING to people.
who can we as a staff INVITE to the 8am, or at least offer it to.
(people who struggle with crowds, noise, with time management?
4.ITS COSTLY
8am for our team, YEs it costs something

But thats OUR CHURCH.
we are a church that counts the costs. that works the cost. that figures out how to make the cost work.

There is a sense that there is a challenge. This is part of building anything thats new and thats
There will be parts of this that require us to go back to what we used to do in the beginning when we were buildinvg our teams
