Psalm 34

God is Good

This is a simple statement of fact- God is good.

God has shown His goodness to us in Jesus Christ.

If we really get a taste, we will know that He is good.

We must face each circumstance of life knowing God is good.

God Gives What is Good (vs9-10)

God is good so all He does and gives is good.

God defines what is truly good and knows it better than us.

Out of His goodness, He will refuse to give us what is not good.

God also knows the timing to give what is good.

Experiencing God’s Goodness

To experience good, we must truly want it.

We must seek good as God defines it in His word.

Seeking good also involves turning from evil.

We must remember that in our weakest moments, God is near and still good.
