There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
But the end thereof are the ways of death.
The purpose of the message today is help us to examine the motives behind our actions and deeds.
God wants us to have pure heart and motives as when represent His as his ambassadors on this earth.
This chapter warn us of trusting in man and trying to tear down other to promote ourselves.
Case Study 1 is Saul son Is-bo- sheth.
And when Saul’s son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled.
Is- bo sheth allowed Abner his general to promote him to a position he was not qualified or was not gifted to handled.
Is-bo seth want power without have purpose or vision.
Is bo seth put his trust in Abner rather than God.
Jesus did not allow the enemy or man to control. Rather he moved by His an lead by His Father.
Case Study 2- Baanah and Rechab murder Is bo sheft thinking that King David would be please with them.
And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ish-bosheth, who lay on a bed at noon. And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped. And they brought the head of Ish-bosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the Lord hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.
