You don’t have to give up on them. they still need guidance from church leaders and members. it’s just learning the right way to engage them. One of the biggest Problems Pastors and adult members have when trying to engage the youth of today is trying to make church cool. It’s not surprised that church isn’t the most exciting thing in the world, but it doesn’t mean it’s not important. In fact, up to half of the kids and teens that grow up in the church don’t stick with their faith after collage life and adulthood.

They can choose the way to go. when we teach them who they are. How precious they are and they’ll have a sense of kingdom pride. with the understanding of a right relationship with the creator, God.

Involvement: As with every generation, the youth of today get antsy when they just have to sit and listen. Many times they don’t feel like there’s any point being there. We must give them an opportunity to help make a difference in their community and in the church. If we teach them the importance of servitude and volunteering while they’re young than that tradition will go a long way. It not only teaches them to practice serving others but also gives them a stronger connection to their faith.

Invest: Many teens don’t feel noticed. They may feel that they are supposed to blend which goes against everything they know. In fact, feeling disconnected from church members is one of the top reasons youth leave church. It’s important for church leaders and adult church members to make time to communicate with them, answer questions, listen to their ideas and etc. The easiest way to engage the youth of today is to make them feel like a valued part of the church family.
