3 John 2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Love Your Neighbor As Yourself

Matthew -
Despised by his people and the Romans he worked for.
Self-rejection
Major discourse on childlikeness of believer - Matt 18:1-5
Matthew 22:35–40 NKJV
Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Mark -
Abandoned Paul and Barnabas
Paul didn’t trust him - Acts 15:38-39 “But Paul insisted that they should not take with them the one who had departed from them in Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work. Then the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another. And so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus;”
Mark became profitable for ministry -
Mark 12:31 NKJV
And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Luke
Luke 10:27 NKJV
So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
John
Disciple whom Jesus loved.
John 13:34–35 NKJV
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Matthew 5:7 NKJV
Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
Matthew 7:12 NKJV
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Best thing you can do is receive God’s love.
He numbered the hairs on our head.
See what God sees in you.
You teach others how to treat you.
Others learn how they should be treated.
Value yourself and others will too.
You’ll go where God wants you to go and have what God wants you to have.
