What will you do with Jesus?

The three most important decileisions of your life are: one what will you do with Jesus, two who you marry, and number three what will you do with your life. I know not all three of those apply to every person here today but at lest one of apply to everyone here.

So today I ask what will you do with Jesus?

If you don't know that you are on your way to heaven I ask what will do with Jesus then I ask what will you do with Jesus? If you know without any question or any dought that you are on your way to heaven, then I ask what will you do with Jesus today?

Romans 10:9–15 KJV 1900

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Confess the Lord Jesus

I love how Paul starts verse 9 that if thou confess the Lord Jesus. Before anything else we must first realize who Jesus is.

I think this applies to the beliver and the nonbeliver because Jesus means jehovah saves. So in order to know Jesus, in order to get to heaven we must confess or know who Jesus his. Or that Jehovah saves.

To the believer we must wake up every morning with the thought of who Jesus is. Let me tell you Christian in order to have a relationship with Christ you must know who he is.

John 1:1 KJV 1900

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

How did Jehovah save?

Not only do we need to confes/believe who Jesus is but we must also confess/ believe the Cross. The Bible says in Hebrews that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of Sin. So how did Jehovah save? God sent his son to die on the cross, to shed his blood for our sins. Let me tell you this afternoon Jesus the perfect Lamb of God came to this world for one purpose and that purpose was the cross. Why? Because of John 3:16 for Love.

Christian if you begin our day by being reminded of what he did for us on the cross how much better will our outlook be!

Not ashamed of Jesus.

Many times people skip over verse 11 and go to verse 13 but I like that Paul points out that if you believe in Jesus you shouldn't be ashamed.

Christian are you ashamed to tell others about Jesus? Is it bc of what he did? Remember He came to this world for one purpose and that was the cross. What is there to be ashamed of?

And verse 13 say you need Jesus just call on him! As peter who stepped out of the boat and took his eyes off Jesus then began to sink, he then cried out Lord save me and He reached out and caught him.

Will you take Jesus?

You say young man I know who Jesus. I am a Christian! Ok the. What will you do with Jesus? Will you take him to others? Will you be the Christian that takes the love that he gave to you and show it to others?

I know that it says "how shall they hear without a preacher and I'm not a preacher. Your right but that word just means the proclaimer. Wil you be the one to proclaim Jesus to those around you. Will you be as Paul and say for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ? Lost person I ask you what will you do with Jesus? Christian I ask what will you do with Jesus?
