Praying the Word

I want to teach you how to read the God’s Word.

Have someone read John 9:6-7.

If no one response tell them their responding the WRONG WAY !

If Pastor Phil told me this is something he did I would say OMG!!!! Wow wow wow!

But we have become calloused to the wonder of the Word.

Read that again. I’m going to give you a second chance!!!!!!!!!

Now respond the right way....

Praying the Word – Testimony -2021

In 1991 after noticing some physical issues in my body I was diagnosed with Graves disease. An over active thyroid and increased by heart rate and blood pressure. My doctor was Dr. Gerald Ginsburg who recommended I have my Thyroid detached and that I start taking hormones for the rest of my life!

I explained to the doctor that I was a praying man and that I would follow his direction except for detaching my thyroid at this time and would pray.

To which he agreed.

At about this time in my life I heard a faith message by Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. Hagin in his message spoke of the power of Mark 11:23, which reads,

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.”

I TOOK THIS AS A WORD FROM THE LORD

The mountain in my life was Graves Disease, (an overactive thyroid ). So I started speaking to my condition, using God’s Word. Usually 3-4 times a day I would speak to my thyroid and say:

“Thyroid, I command you, In Jesus Name to conform to God’s will and purpose. I say function properly in Jesus Name!”

After 30 days of speaking to my mountain I was certain I was healed. I had more blood work and returned for my next doctors visit, totally expecting a 100 percent healing report. I did not receive what I expected but was told that my numbers had improved! Well I repeated this practice for 12 more months. Having blood work done monthly! Almost every month I received news that my condition was improving. Finally, after 13 months, Dr. Ginsburg told me. “You and Jesus won, and I have lost, you are in complete remission.” I responded, But it took 13 months to which he said, “Are you kidding this practically never happens.”

So for the last 30 years I have been symptom free, until recently. My symptoms returned. To which I responded with great confidence, “I beat you once, I’ll beat you again!” I again started to speak to my thyroid and now after about 3 months symptoms are gone!

Some miracles are instant and some take time, God knows, but releasing my faith with its foundation firmly in the Word of God. I grew more than every before. Faith for my miracle was not hard when I used this most powerful weapon. The Word of God in Prayer.

Why Pray the Word?

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 ESV

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power (effectual, active, powerful) [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]. Hebrews 4:12 AMPC

If you’re not praying the Word,

I WOULD SAY TO YOU THIS MORNING!

·INCREASE YOUR BIBLE VOCABULARY

· PERSONALIZE HIS WORD TO YOUR SITUATION

· RELEASE HIS WORD INTO YOUR WORLD ON PURPOSE AND OFTEN

Take the challenge, I could have given up, I didn’t know anyone who had Graves Disease let alone anyone who had been healed of it. I took a chance, I made the Word of God personal to my situation. I was steadfast… I didn’t give up and I am whole today. AND SO CAN YOU. To God be the Glory!

I remember seeing a nature film about a group that was reintroducing native species back into their original environment. They brought mature healthy animals from other parts on the world and air lifted them in, male and female to in key locations. It was a simple plan that took many years to accomplish. BUT the operation was a huge success! It was a natural thing for them to flourish in an environment they were created for!

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT GOD IS DOING WITH US! HE IS RE-INTRODUCING KINGDOM MINDED PEOPLE INTO A NATURAL HABITAT. WE HAVE BEEN RE-BIRTHED INTO HIS IMAGE. PURCHASED WITH HIS BLOOD. HIS WORD ON OUR LIPS. FILLED WITH HIS SPIRIT, A NEW BREED, A RACE OF BEINGS THAT THE CREATED WORLD HAS BEEN WAITING FOR. LOVERS OF GOD, PASSIONATE FOR HIM AND TO SEE HIM GLORIFIED. AWAKENED CHRISTIANS WITH GOD’S KINGDOM BLUEPRINT SEARED INTO THEIR DNA. TO BRING ABOUT KINGDOM CHANGE, KINGDOM REVIVAL IN THE EARTH. THIS MY FRIEND IS WHO, GOD HAS MADE YOU TO BE, NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE ON YOUR JOURNEY, YOU/WE HAVE A PIECE OF IT! ARISE, ARISE, ARISE!

SLOW DOWN……….

REMEMBER THE PARABLE OF THE TALENTS? ONE GOT 5 TALENTS, ONE GOT 3 AND THE LAST GOT ONLY ONE! THE FIRST TWO USED THEIR TALENTS AND DOUBLED THEM, THE ONE WITH ONLY ONE HID HIS TALENT AND REFUSED TO USE IT, AS HE KNEW HE SHOULD. I BELIEVE HE HID IT BECAUSE HE MINIMIZED HIS GIFTING, IT WAS NOT AS GREAT (IN HIS ESTIMATION) AS THE OTHER TWO. THIS IS A HUGE MISTAKE; WE MUST NEVER UNDERESTIMATE WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN US. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN THE CHURCH. WHY DO ANYTHING BECAUSE OTHERS ARE ALREADY DOING IT? DOING SOMETHING EXPOSES OUR HUMANITY. BUT, GOD GETS GREAT DELIGHT AND HONOR FROM US USING OUR INDIVIDUAL GIFTS.

SOMEONE SAY AMEN!!!!!

But how are we to accomplish His will and purpose?

The same way He did it, of course.

TODAY I WANT TO TALK ABOUT OUR GREATEST WEAPON

God’s Word!

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Hebrews 11:3 ESV

God always needs to release His will into the earth.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Gen.1

For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!): “I am the Lord, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:18

USE THE WORD, PRAY THE WORD

YOU CAN ASSEMBLE YOUR OWN WORD PRAYER BY KNITTING SEVERAL SCRIPTURES TOGETHER.

OR USE WORD PRAYERS ALREADY ASSEMBLED FOR YOU.

Nearly every Wednesday evening we gather in person or via conference call to pray the Word.

You don’t even have to be on the line. The Scriptures and prayer points are emailed to everyone.

Turn off Judge Judy or whatever you watch and discipline yourself to pray.

You can’t convince me that prayer doesn’t work, I am a living proof!

God’s Word is deadly to the opposition!

God’s Word is feared by His enemies!

God’s Word brings results!

God’s Word brings ANSWERS!

BUT You MUST persevere!

Pray for your family

Pray for the sick

Pray the Word.

REMEMBER, NEVER MINIMIZE YOUR GIFT!

I pray for this people today Father in Jesus name. Everyone present and everyone listening online.

May You Holy Spirit be a fire in our bones, a fire that cannot be quenched

May we never be guilty of minimizing our God given gifts.

Or seeking you half halfheartedly.

Never living a life as if you weren’t listening.

I pray that if anyone doesn’t know you in truth that You will bring them to repentance for the forgiveness of their sins.

Use us to reach our individual worlds as life changers

Use Your Word that comes out of our mouths to be purposeful and release Your Kingdom into the life of many.

THE HURRICANE FACTOR: Do you know how scientist can accurately predict a hurricane? They don’t do it the way I thought. They must be looking for high winds getting stronger and stronger… RIGHT?....WRONG!

“SCIENTISTS PREDICT HURRICANES BY DETECTING THE OPPOSITE OF A HURRICANE. THEY SEE AIR PRESSURE FALLING CREATING A VACUUM OVER THE OCEAN. WARM AIR RISES AND CREATES A LOW-PRESSURE AREA. THEY KNOW NATURE ALWAYS RUSHES IN TO FILL A VOID.” -Mario Murillo

Likewise in the Kingdom:

When there is a great vacuum formed over the earth like we have now. A vacuum of LEADERSHIP, a vacuum of MORALITY. A vacuum of PURITY. The devil in convinced he has won our generation, but his assessment could NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!

This vacuum will have the OPPOSITE effect. I am predicting today a HURRICANE of Biblical Proportions one that will sweep the earth AND harvest souls to populate HEAVEN!

But we must partner with Heaven

And use the most powerful weapon known to man.
