S.O.S (Son of Salvation)
King James Version (Chapter 1)
1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not
I want to talk to you today about sending out a SOS, now when we look up SOS it is Morse Code for help but the accranum has no sufficient definition some sailor has pen it to mean “Save Our Ship” but I’ve chose to pen it “Son Of Salvation”
to get a clear understand in the direction that we are going we must first take a close look at John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

said in other words God spoke His Word:
so we have identified 3 individuals:
God — who designed the plan
Word/ Jesus — who apply the plan
Spirit — who execute the plan

After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
:Salvation: Let’s go
I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.
Salvation {Yesua} something saved, deliverance, help
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Sing unto the Lord, all the earth;
Shew forth from day to day his salvation.
He also shall be my salvation:
For an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion;
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:
Behold, thy King cometh unto thee:
He is just, and having salvation;
Lowly, and riding upon an ass,
And upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Salvation {yasa} saviour, deliver, save, avenged, defend, rescue, help
we know that Matt. 21: 7 tells us that Jesus came riding on a colt.
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
It shall not return unto me void,
But it shall accomplish that which I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
*The Word became flesh and dwelled among us!
WHY!!! did the word become flesh
To allow God into intervene into humanity so that we will have access to Salvation
As deliverance from divine Judgment
Rock of Salvation
To restore the stability of our Salvation
To give us life and life more abundantly
Let’s take a closer look at the process of Salvation
Luke 19:9 (KJV 1900)
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
John 10:10 (KJV 1900)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Romans 10:9–10 (KJV 1900)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For 10. with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
5 Benefits to Salvation
Freedom of choice (Rom. 6:17)
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
B. Never be forgotten or abandon by God (Jn. 14:18
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
C. We are God’s Children (1 Pet. 1:23 )
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
D. we are a New Creation (2 Cor. 5:17)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
E. We are the temple of the Holy spirit (1 Cor. 6:19)
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
F. We are delivered from the power of darkness and translated into God’s Kingdom (Col. 1:13)
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
E. We are the elect of God (Col. 3:12
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
