What is Worship?
* To bow down or show great respect and adoration to; to show humility to
* Give Praise and Worship Example: We give Worship to God to show our submission to Him, and that it is no longer about us and it’s about Him.
* We see immediately that as soon as Jesus was welcomed into the house, Mary was already sitting at the feet of Jesus.
Worship is not limited to a building or on Sundays
* Worship is Lifestyle
* Some examples of Worship include: Reading the Bible, Praying, Fasting, etc.
* Worship is what we do not just in the church, but in the Wild.
* Give examples of what are in the Wild (analogy to the sinful world)
* People DO take notice, when you choose to represent God at your school, with your family, and job.
Worship has NEVER been about us
* We should strive to always please God
* Read John 11:1-2
Worship draws us closer to God
* Our worship allows us to hear from Jesus
* Mary had a front row seat to hear Jesus
* If we want to hear from God, we must be willing to Worship
Worship is a Necessity
* Jesus requires worship from us.
