Jesus Is On Board

Luke 5:1–11 NKJV
1 So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, 2 and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. 3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. 4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” 9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; 10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” 11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.
Our Father Doesn’t Need Your Permission to get in our Boat!!
Or to get in our business

3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s,

God is stepping into whats important to you and he’s going to disrupt your entire plans.

and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.

He challenged Peter to move away from what he normally does when he’s washing his next.
Simon Was done for the day and was ready to call it quits and Jesus....

Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

Amplified Bible Chapter 5

Put out into the deep [water], and lower your nets for a haul.

“Now row out to deep water to cast your nets and you will have a great catch.”

One thing I Love about God is he will wait till we have made up our mind that something an’t going to work.. And hell tell us to try it again… But this time do it my way..
I wonder if there’s anyone hear that realizes you haven’t begun to be stretched the way God intends for you to Stretch...
Do me a favor look at that neighbor that missed his or her hair appointment and tell them… God’s calling you deeper
Your about to catch something you have never caught before..
Peters dilemma was he was an expert in fishing and was being told to do something that went against the natural order of things..

5 “Master,” Peter replied, “we’ve just come back from fishing all night and didn’t catch a thing.

Your next level of success is contingent on your ability to trust and obey God

But if you insist, we’ll go out again and let down our nets because of your word.”

Amplified Bible (Chapter 5)
But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets [again].
Ask Your Neighbor Does Gods word hold weight with you?
Jesus has taken them on a fantastic Voyage..
They have been in water all there lives, they have been on boats all there lives, they have caught fish all there lives.
But Jesus was about to rock there boat, rock there world & rock there resources

6 When they pulled up their nets, they were shocked to see a huge catch of fish, so much that their nets were ready to burst!

When we let him Lead, he will break our Nets!!
The Passion Translation: New Testament (Chapter 5)
7 They waved to their business partners in the other boat for help. They ended up completely filling both boats with fish until their boats began to sink!
This was an incorporation Expansion. Overnight there stocks quadruple
Everyone in the ship helped and obeyed the instructions of the Lord. And they all benefited..
Say that again slowwww

8 When Simon Peter saw this astonishing miracle, he knelt at Jesus’ feet and begged him, “Go away from me, Master, for I am a sinful man!”

Peter recognized this was no lucky thing that happened. It was GOD thing, a supernatural Miracle.
The closer we get to God the greeter our reverence is towards him for the things he has done..
The problem we are faced with is many of us have gotten so use to Miracles we no longer feel the need to be thankful.

9–10 Simon Peter and the other fishermen—including his fishing partners, Jacobc and John, the sons of Zebedee—were awestruck over the miracle catch of fish

Jesus realizes Pete has the chance to allow fear to paralyze this moment.
The Passion Translation: New Testament (Chapter 5)
Jesus answered, “Do not yield to your fear, Simon Peter. From now on you will catch men for salvation!”
Wait you mean to tell Me Jesus blows up there business in one day,
Sets there family up to live off the leftovers for a while
And then drops the bomb on him!! I’ve called you to catch men...
Can you imagine how many Christians have missed it!!!
Right Now as your listening to me did you catch the revelation in this?
The blessings you experience, the job the house, the car, the kids, the weave, the red bottoms, the double G, the vacations is just perks.
The real reward is being able to catch Men for Christ...... CMC
The Passion Translation: New Testament (Chapter 5)
11 After pulling their boats to the shore, they left everything behind and followed Jesus.
Leaving everything behind was a requirement to follow him, yet he no longer requires us to leave it behind but he does require us to
Matthew 6:33 TPT
33 “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.
