We are in the last week of our series
Decisions, Decisions: Biblical Wisdom for Life’s Choices.
The Bible doesn’t give us definitive answers for every decision we face in life or turn-by-turn directions for our proverbial journeys. You won’t find a verse about where to go to school, whether or not to take a job, or where you should retire. But the Bible does give us wisdom for how to make decisions (big and small) and trustworthy guidance that leads us to God’s ultimate will for our lives. This series explores how we can grow in wisdom by leaning on the power of Scripture.
We have look at what the was key for wisdom. The key is to lesson to God and his guidance in making decisions.
who can wisdom call? We was that everyone is able to hear wisdom but will you choice to lesson or not. Those who listen to wisdom will find the blessing of God’s presence in all they do.
Last week we look at what can wisdom do. We look at how we must seek counsel in find make decisions whether that be for other or from God. We we don’t seek counsel we could look foolish when the decision back fire on us and everything falls about. When we seek counsel we become wiser to make the right decisions.
This week we will be in Proverbs 29. If you have your bible go head and turn there. If not you can follow along on the screen in a moment.
before we look at the verses for today. I have a question for you. So think for a moment.

Have you ever made a decision that affected someone else?

Whether that was positive affect or a negative affect. What happened to that person.
I know I have. The one that comes to mind for me is when Nikki and I decided that moving to Canada was what God was calling us to do. We knew that by making this decision to move meant leave all of our family and friend behind. Moving to a place were we really didn’t know anyone at the time. This decision was the best for our family but that doesn’t mean that it did hurt others. In fact, it did hurt some they could believe that we would move so far away from family and some did not understand why God would call us to leave.
Most of the time when we have to make a decision it will affected other around us. and we should take into account other when we are make those decisions.
How can we make decisions with other in mind? how can we make the right decision and not hurt those around us?
Today we will be looking at three different verse that we can gain truths from.
Lets read.
Proverbs 29:2 CSB
2 When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, people groan.
When we make the right choice

Other will rejoice

When the right decisions are made thing go great for everyone. It can be beneficial to all who are involved. Other will be happy for us but there is a flip side to this too. Like most thing. When we make a bad decision then other will not be happy with it nor will it sit will with them.
This also fit into with the rules the people in charge of our country. When the right people are in charge good things happen for all but when that not so good person get into office then. We all know what happens. Thing can and will go bad. We grab and complain about it all.
The next verse speaks about the low poor or weak that are around us.
Proverbs 29:7 CSB
7 The righteous person knows the rights of the poor, but the wicked one does not understand these concerns.

You have to look out for others

When it come to make you decisions other people matter. You might be make the decision to leave the job you are at. If you do not take in to account the other include you could live someone feeling hurt or abandoned. A righteous person a person of good standings always look out for others. They are always thing of others.
The wicked does not care about other. All they care about is me myself and I. No one else matters.
Proverbs 29:12 CSB
12 If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials will be wicked.

Do not listen to the wicked

Last week we talk about getting counsel for other around you. This verse fit right into that. You see when we are asking for help in make a decision some people will try to deceive us. They might not do it on purpose but it will happen. We have to be cause in who we ask for advice.

We must consider other in our decisions

When making decisions, people who want to honor God with their lives consider not only themselves but also their neighbors.
When we recognize that our decisions will affect others, we consider their needs in light of those decisions.
Though the task of discerning God’s will for our lives and the choices that will follow as a result may seem daunting, it is clear that he intends for us to use wisdom. Wisdom will include how this decision affects the individual and the community. The decisions we make involve more than just our yes or no—even if they must begin there first.
