It has been said that "God can do anything."  That the all powerful and majestic creator of everything, who alone possesses the divine attribute of sovereignty is able to perform anything.  But, just because God can do, does not mean He has to. The saints used to say, “He is God all by Himself.” The mighty and miraculous works of God in your life are only limited by your willingness to believe God for it.  God will not do it if you don't believe he can, and this primarily includes but is not limited to salvation.  There is by God's design, an inter-working relationship between much of God's activity and your faith. The Lord has so arranged it, that in order to receive salvation and the blessings that come with it what we must do is believe.  All we must do is believe.  Believe that God is, believe that God can, believe that God has, and believe that God will.  It is as simple as that.  It is that simple, but it isn't easy.  It's not a lot, but it is work.  Believing and trusting God is simple but it sure isn't easy.  And there are many factors that prevent people from believing in God(List some reasons).   The bottom line of all the different reasons is sin and our love for darkness Jn 3:18-21. And that is for the unbeliever, but for the person who knows Jesus, or rather knows something about Jesus.  There is often an intellectual barrier, cultural barrier, or a social barrier, that keeps us from believing and believing in Jesus.  But, an often overlooked reason that many people don't believe and therefore miss out on the blessings and miracles of God is "familiarity."
