.John 15:4-5; “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing.”
Abiding in the Vine can mean many things. Abiding in the Vine means:
Praying every day, Talking to the Lord throughout the day
Reading the Word of God every day
Repenting of your sin every day
Rebaptizing yourself with the Word of God (once David said, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Being filled with the Holy Ghost every day!
When we Abide in the Vine, that allows God to bear fruit in our lives! He produces the fruit of Love, Joy, Peace…(Galatians 5:22-23)
When you are filled with the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost begins to guide you and counsel you into all truth. When you see someone who is alone, depressed, shaken with anxiety, the Holy Ghost will teach you how to guide them with wisdom and instruction
If we look at King Saul in the Old Testament, the predecessor of King David, he Quenched the Spirit of God during his kingship.
He quenched the Spirit of God because he disobeyed Him.

If we want to Abide in the Vine and if we want to bear more fruit, we must allow Him to Prune us.
Hebrews 12:3-11 talks about the Discipline of God.
If we’re gonna have a relationship with God, just KNOW you are going to have some whippins on the way. You are going to be chastened by the Lord.

If you feel the call to preach, quit desiring or dreaming about the pulpit because it “must be earned.”
Your mindset for being on the pulpit should not be so you can have the fame.
But your mindset should be, “to seek people to reach and be an Influence.”
When we allow God to live inside our heart, we must make sure we don’t Quench the Fire that God set in us, for the Word of God said, “Quench not the Spirit.”If you feel the call to the Ministry. Whether it’s preaching, teaching Sunday School/bible studies, evangelizing, etc., You need to allow God to live inside your heart
When we Quench the Spirit of God in our hearts, we no longer part of His Vine. We are no longer connected to Him.
