The Rescue Mission
The Redeemer
The Redeemer
Challenge REC - Legendários - 29th oct - 1st Nov. Extreme Caracter
There are people lost and what do we do?
it’s time to go on a rescue mission. Find the lost and bring them back
but the challenge is big -
A study says that 22% of the people that went out of church during the pandemic will never come back.
25 I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
you know Jobs story, he lost everything - health - land -
Job’s friends came to see him and they where so Traumatize they didn't say a word for 7 days,
9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!”
Jobs friends and even his family didn't come with comforting words but instead came with judgement And the pressure over him. that didn't bring comfort and relief.
And sometimes we do that we act like job's friends or even his wife .
And it's in the middle of this judgment, and pressure, and weight that he declares JOB 19:25
I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

The word Redeemer
Definition
“one who redeems”; “redeemer”; avenger”; “revenger”; “to deliver”; “to ransom”
25 “ ‘If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold.
26 If, however, there is no one to redeem it for them but later on they prosper and acquire sufficient means to redeem it themselves,
27 they are to determine the value for the years since they sold it and refund the balance to the one to whom they sold it; they can then go back to their own property.
The word land is used 39 time in these 2 chapters
Then you the land was not theirs but was God's land. The Jews were expected to toil in their fields, but it was God who gave the increase ( V 21) and Supply them with sunshine, rain, and harvest. in other words, the people of Israel had God as their landlord and had to live by faith in his word.
In chapter 23 of Leviticus we noted the Jewish calendar was based on a series of sevens; there were 7 annual Fists, three of them in the seventh month, and the seventh day of the week was the Sabbath, a day of rest. Now we learn that the seventh year was to be our year of rest for the land, the people and their animals.
1 The Lord said to Moses at Mount Sinai,
2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord.
3 For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops.
4 But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.
5 Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.
During the Sabbath year, the people were not to work the field or have organized Harvest, but were to take from the fields the food they needed as it grew of itself.
Deuteronomy 15 informs us that personal debts we're also remitted during the Sabbath year and that indentured servants were set free. It involves the canceling of debts and the freeing of slaves. As the people shared with the poor and with their liberated servants, they were to be generous and open-handed.
If a poor Jew had to sell himself or his property in order to stay alive, he didn't have to wait until the Year of Jubilee to regain either his property or his freedom. At any time, a relative who was willing and able to pay the price could redeem him and his land.
If the former owner the (first owner) of the land was too poor to redeem his land then a near relative could do it for him. What if the former wouldn't somehow acquire the necessary wealth he could redeem it for himself. The price would depend, of course, on the number of years Harvest until then Year of Jubilee.
I believe that this is what we need to do, take care of those who are financially broken. Who during the pandemic didn't have any resources.
Care for the Mourner
Care for the Mourner
And the same thing is true for the orphans and The Widow, that close relative would also take care of them.
And that's what we're going to do this month is to redeem, rescue, avenge, the people who lost their loved ones.
