INCARNATION
The word comes from a
Latin verb incarnare which
means to embody in esh.
Our English word refers to
the embodiment of a god,
deity, spirit in human/
earthly form. Although the
word is not used in
Scripture, it describes the
biblical concept of Jesus,
Who is God in the esh.
PREEXISTENCE OF CHRIST
Jesus preexistence refers to His existence prior to His concep on as a human child in the womb
of Mary.
DISCUSS: Was Jesus of Nazareth, son of Mary and Joseph, preexistent, or just the Divine
Son of God, the second Person of the Trinity?
