58 So now, beloved ones, stand firm and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
The Unshakable Kingdom
The Unshakable Kingdom
Being that I am an equal opportunity type a guy before we encourage the Unshakable squad..
Let’s deal with the Shaky Sketchy folks that hang around the kingdom...
But First lets define
per·se·vere| continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success:
Do you know how much discipline it takes to continue in a course action
even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success:
This is what helped determine if businesses, Marriages & Ministries had the ability to perservere during the pandemic.
Aren’t you glad God blessed you with leadership that continued on course in the face of difficulties..
The Lord gives us a model to become molded into an authentic disciple..
Before you get excited tho.. An authentic disciple should bare the resemblance of Jesus Christ and should be able to do similar things there teacher does.
And still be able to brake the Mold and launch out into new course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success
Which brings me to my point about shaky folks....
We have shaky baby daddies & shaky baby Mom’s
We have shaky supervisors & shaky co-workers
We have had shaky Presidents & shaky Governors
We have had shaky entertainers, actors, comedians..
And thats all good but the problem comes in when we have shaky saints....
Faith-full for a few months, gone for a few more. Give them a job or responsibility it gets hard and difficult they give that job right back......(shaky)
They pledge their allegiance to the Ministry, To the Leadership.. But every time you turn around they up in someone else’s conference prop-a-lying.. shaky
Just as Shaky annnnnd anointed and gifted and undisciplined and Un-submitted as they can be.
Its not that they don’t love God or God’s people, its not that they don’t Love the pastor, they might envy the pastor but they Love the pastor..
the problem is theY Have become Kingdom Misfits…
62 Jesus responded, “Why do you keep looking backward to your past and have second thoughts about following me? When you turn back you are useless to God’s kingdom realm.”
62 But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”
The problem is they lack Perseverance. Which cause them to be Kingdom Misfits..
Do me a favor help me preach.. look at that neighbor that didn’t consider his or her outfit didn’t match their shape.. And Ask them are you a part of the Unshakeable Tribe
And because we come from that tribe we are called to be Movers & Shakers in God’s Kingdom…
Birthing next generation Leader’s
Yet The text says:
58 So now, beloved ones, stand firm and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
Stand Firm And Secure: (Steadfast & Unmovable)
Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary (Steadfastness)
STEADFASTNESS Word meaning to endure patiently. A steadfast person is one who is reliable, faithful, and true to the end. Paul said Jesus was a person of steadfastness (Rom. 15:3–5). The NASB translates steadfastness with “perseverance”
2. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence.
I got save in Feb 1994 but i discovered who I was in the Kingdom in Sept 2011
Someone SAY UNSHAKABLE CONFIDENCE
Be ever laboring in the work of the Lord.
Where should we labor?—In the sphere of the Lord’s work, of making saints of sinners and mature saints of baby saints. All of our labors should be directly or indirectly directed to this end.
When should we labor?—Always, at all times and in every situation.
2 proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit —with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach the people.
3. know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord
Amplified Bible Chapter 15
[always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord]
The Holy Bible: King James Version Chapter 15
always abounding in the work of the Lord
Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Thesaurus (abounding)
Overflowing, swarming, teeming, thronged full, jammed, packed, stuffed
4. Our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary (Unity)
Jesus prayed that His disciples would experience unity modeled on the unity that Jesus experienced with the Father (John 17:11, 21–23). Such unity verifies Jesus’ God-sent mission and the Father’s love for the world. Jesus’ prayer for unity was realized in the life of the earliest church. The first believers were together in one place; they shared their possessions and were of one heart and soul
As in the OT, sin threatened the God-ordained unity. The selfishness of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1–11), the prejudice of those who neglected the Greek-speaking widows (6:1), the rigidness of those who demanded that Gentiles become Jews before becoming disciples (15:1)—all threatened the unity of the church.
In every circumstance, however, the Holy Spirit led the church in working out creative solutions that challenged the church to go beyond dissension to ministry (Acts 6:2–7; 15:6–35).
Paul spoke repeatedly of believers as “one body in Christ,” which transcends varieties of giftedness and human labels .
For Paul the unity of the church reflects the unity of the Godhead: one God , one Lord and one Spirit
Christian unity has various aspects: the shared experience of Christ as Lord and confession of Christ in baptism (Eph. 4:5, 13); the shared sense of mission (“thinking the same way,” Phil. 2:2 HCSB); the shared concern for one another (1 Cor. 12:25; “same love,” Phil. 2:2; 1 Pet. 3:8); and the shared experience of suffering for Jesus’ sake
It’s remaining connected that makes our labor productive..
1 I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
It’s remaining in his word
4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
This is what creates an unshakeable Kingdom..
standing Firm And Secure
having an unshakable confidence
knowing that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord
