1. Walk (v. 17).
2. Wisdom (v. 18).
3. Work (vv. 19–21).

II. His Conduct (vv. 22–28).

A. “Put off … the old man” (vv. 22, 23).
B. “Put on the new man” (vv. 24–28).

III. His Conversation (v. 29).

IV. His Communion with the Spirit (vv. 30–32).

A. Stop grieving Him or causing Him pain or distress! Because:
1. He is the Holy Spirit.
2. He is the “Holy Spirit of God.
3. He has sealed or stamped us as God’s own.
4. He has sealed us “unto the day of redemption.”

V. His Communion with the Saints (vv. 31, 32).
