Me:
1. Still thinking about the phone call
a. How quickly I allowed the devil to have a seat at the table.
i. It took a millisecond
ii. It’s a habit I have let develop
iii. It wasn’t until I got home and begin prepping my message that I understood what happened
iv. I tell this again to say again how quickly it can happen
b. I have at least two vulnerabilities
i. Pride
ii. Fear
You:
The tiniest crack

a. A sliver of opportunity.
i. The smallest window of doubt.
ii. Maybe like me it’s fear
iii. Maybe for you it’s uncertainty
That’s just the way it is.
That’s just the way it is.
i. We have a big problem
ii. We have come to accept the enemy sitting at our table as normal
iii. It’s a huge problem
iv. Here’s what we say – That’s just the way things are these days.
v. Who isn’t worried, who isn’t hurried, who isn’t stressed?
vi. You have pitched your tent in the valley – The dark valley

i. If I had their job or their house or money
ii. Social media is a distortion field
iii. I’m so cynical I believe nothing.
iv. When we are envious of others??

i. We are sucked in
ii. Now the seats have been rearranged
iii. No! Allowing the Enemy to have a say in our lives should not be normal.
iv. In Jesus’ name, we can refuse him and all his ways.

i. When walking through the darkness valleys we do not have to camp there
ii. You must change the way you think
iii. Hear this verse – Slowly explain verse
10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.
11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
v. The same power/Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead and ascended Him to heaven lives in you.
vi. Do you know the power you have at your disposal?
vii. In Jesus’ name, we can refuse him and all his ways.
viii. We don’t need to accept them.
ix. Satan leads us to sins that are harming us and choking the life out of us.
b. When a church goes camping
i. There is an epidemic of dying churches
ii. We could have – Satan tempts me every week
iii. Most of those churches will have a thousand excuses

i. You have your excuses why you are camping trip in the dark valley with the devil.
ii. You are live in despair, confusion, and sorrow.

i. Many people are driven by guilt – shame
ii. Many people are driven by resentment and anger.
iii. Many people are driven by fear. – insecurity
iv. Many people are driven by materialism – jealousy envy
v. Many people are driven by the need for approval – letting the opinion of other control your life
