On the east side of the Jordan River, before they crossed over into the promised land. Now got raises up a new leader of Joshua that has been serving Moses for so many years. And now he's about to leave them into the promised land, we start. And I want to take today to talk about, take me back, but I'm going to be set, though. The stage year. We started talking about core values as well. I'm not sure about next week, but I want to look at this because in the following week, we're going to start talking about future again for our church, for those that may be new to Destiny church. Every year. We take a month before we talked about the vision that God has laid up on our heart, kind of renewing the vision. And then we're looking at the same point at mapping out the things for some next steps that we're going to be taking in our spiritual journey as an organ is The God is laying out before us and before I die.

You know, you look at for any organization that is thriving successful. They have a core value of core principles. And what did they? They are built upon in a functional. If you guys think you can go and listen to the bilingual service from last week. It has this information in it. You can listen to it but it talks about the things you function and what we do and why we do some certain things and the way that we do those things. Those are our core values. We want to know people, we want people to be say, we want them to be delivery. We want them to be, he'll we want them to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We know that's the power of God that takes us into the interception, the way that God wants us to go. Today, as we continue talking about our core values. I want to talk about, take me back. Sometimes. As I was saying, we have to go back and refocus and reflect upon what God has done. God is right now. He's preparing and Joshua. He's preparing the nation of Israel to cross over into their Promised Land, the place and it got problems and destined for them. And he gives him some instructions that I want us to look at in just a few moments. Some of them, you said. Well, you know, what? What is the significance of those instructions? What's the significance of him telling them? I want you to take some songs and put it into place, is right there in the middle of a. Let me give you a little bit more history here. They were crossing over the Jordan River. It was a Time of the Season where was flooding. So the banks of the river was over, running the, you know, the flooding plane. So was flooding all around and got pics this season for them to go over. And he tells the priest that when we step into the water, what is what was that for?

The Jordan River into the place of promise. And when I start thinking about that, what is the memorial songs? There's a song that I think it was the author of the song was under a crowd. He he can sing a song. Take me back to the place where I first believed. Because I want to tell you that God has a plan for all of our Lives, everything for us. The oftentimes you want to take us back to a place that we can reflect upon the goodness of the Lord and how good?

You never gone. So how come you don't get? So carried away. And so caught up in everything that we forget about the foundational principles of the Bible and what the foundational principles is the word of God.

We're in here. In Joshua chapter 4.

Starting at verse 21.

He says, then Joshua said to the Israelites.

In the future. Your children wax? What does he Stones mean?

He tells them in verse 22, then you sell you can tell them. This is where the Israelites cross the joint on grind on dry ground.

For the Lord, your God. Drying up the river right before your eyes and he kept it dry on to you or all across. Just as he did at the Red Sea, when you drive it up, until we had at all crossed over. First 24 says that I'll go back and will reflect in just a moment. He did this. So to all the nations of the earth might know that the Lord's hand is powerful and so that you may fear the lord your God for ever.

Take me back.

It was. Looking here that wants to look here. There's always times and celebrations and all of our lives where we've been walking with the Lord. I don't care how long we've been walking with the Lord built that. We need to have those moments where we can go back. And remember when God brought transformation in my life. Forgot. Change my life for God. Did something in my life that it's it's worth talking about, it's worth. It's worth revisiting. Not that I want to talk about taking back. So if we go back to before God, I don't want to go back before we got everybody, say, Amen to that. We want to go back and start workout started in in our lives because we want to go to for her back.

But I want to go back to that place where we started this Christian walk. We're God, transformed our lives for there was a something Supernatural that happened in all of our lives in and what we see God do that. He did some miraculous things and three things as we move forward today because I could not bring or did not bring a huge Stone in here to put in the on the middle of the stage that could be a great picture. In a reminder of the things. Our faith is built upon. But there are some things that our faith is built upon. But I want to remind you. That I think is the purpose of the, the memory stones that got was establishing in the right there in the middle of the the place where God was bringing the Deliverance that was memorial stones in the number one. The purpose was for future Generations.

The memorial song, it wasn't just, you know, the river is overflowing the banks right now, but maybe, you know, a little lower level in the water and then I'm not sure how high the the Rocks came up or how deep do the river was at the point where they place that. But maybe at some point that can be seen. It could be, they can be recognized. Is this for the future for the generation to come? I think that's why, you know, it all of our Lives, God's doing things, not just for us, but for the Next Generation. I'm moving today for what not just for this generation before the Next Generation. So when the next Generation hear the stories that can be a begin. The question say, what, hey, what was that all about? It was all about doing the face for the next generation and we're crying out to God and we're going out to God with all of our hearts. This is not for us. This marks the generation that come behind us because it goes on the number to because when they see something happening, they will begin to inquire. What is this one of those stones all about? Give us the opportunity to talk about the things that God has done for the Next Generation that happened in homes around the table. It happened as you're telling people about what God has done in your life. It happens, as we begin to reflect upon. The power of God has been moving in our lives. That happens as you tell the story to your directions to come in contact with and how Mighty God is, what happens if people in your life, it was really neat. You got to talk about it. Because God was so powerful in the generation. You remember there was a guy that I used to talk about that. Did all of these mirrors. Where is he at today?

Today about the power of God. That's what happened, you know, a man named Lazarus.

John chapter number 11 and John chapter number 12 because I have been raised from the dead guy. Left him there for about moving in his life and he can tell somebody about the goodness of God. I want you to see this because often times Our Lives. Things that we have gone through. It's only to be only only here to see that God is so good. God is so awesome. What I want us to know as well. the point of this is, That we used to connect us with God. But as well as that the point of it is not for us to live in the past. But we talked about it. It helps us for the future. And reflect.

This past weekend. In other words, Christians who that? We have here, we were teaching, I was teaching a subject called New Testament survey and are in the Bible class that I was teaching that you know, we were talking about how how to make the students. I was asking them. How do you grow on your face with God? It may begin to share stories in the school in and one of them. And there was a I remember because I guess she had heard her family of her about it and we have been raised from the dead. What, how do you have your face? Because I understand your parents may have faith, but we're drunk faces relied upon which I heard them talking about that. My mom was dead and got raised her from the dead and I was like, wow, that was pretty awesome. She was clean.

She heard it as our family was talking about it. So if it gave her something to watch her face on to talk about it, till the next Generation about the goodness of God. It's so that's a memorial stone. That was because it was an opportunity. I remember blah blah blah.

Number 3, thing. I want you to see us from this story is that it was a great opportunity for the world to see. And know that there is a God in heaven who works miracles. There is a God in heaven. He does work miracles.

You still a miracle working God?

He still moves by his power. DC still do the unbelievable. You can do it what he says that's sitting on your bundle anymore than we can even ask or imagine.

Don't do the things I want you to see, but I want to tell you, not just about their stories, but I want to tell you about our story. Because there are some stonedeks tablets in our lives today. They are he said the purpose of those stones so that you can talk about it with the children. Next Generation. We want to build a generation of kids that walking in faith and trust and confidence in God. It's all about knowing the power of God and giving opportunity before the world to see it as well. Then I start thinking because I'm talking about core values.

What are those memorial stones for us today? What are the established in our Christian faith today?

I'll give you three things today that will remind us. I think we got to go back to every once in awhile.

I don't think it's just a once in a while once in a lifetime or annual thing that we talked about, but I think it's something that every day that we have to go back and reflect upon because we all have stones that are established in our lives. I think one of the stones that are established established in our life, is the cross of Jesus.

She's the cross of Jesus is essential to our Christian faith. We can never become so Progressive, we can never become sore, where we can never become so knowledgeable. We can never become so Advanced that we don't talk about something as Monumental as the cross of Jesus. I know I've heard about that. Gospel that's in central route, phase. That's a picture of everything that we hope for, we believe, because I'm at work, on the cross of Jesus. And it's not something that we just talked about it on Easter, Sunday, or Easter weekend. And next. We don't talk about it again because everything that we have everything God has done for us, is through the work of Jesus.

Because it's the cross of Jesus. Is the place where all about wounds were healed? We're all of our life issues was dealt with. What victory was over, and we said we're walking in Victory today. It ain't because of who you are is because of what Jesus has done.

It's not because we've overrun, it's because he's Nailed It All To the Cross. It's a foundational truth and we can't walk in Victory. We don't understand the foundational principles. Are we forget about him and thinks that we can do it within ourselves. We can't it's because of what Jesus has.

The central theme of a gospel. I want to give you some verses of scriptures that you can hold on to go in 1st Peter. Chapter 2 verse 24, says, personally carried our sins. Come on. This is foundational for all of us. We got to go back. If you go to walk in this, you don't know who you are. You going to know your identity. You got to know that he personally care of your sins in his body on the cross. So that so that we can be dead and live for what is right by his wounds. You are healed.

So you understand that stealing flows from the, the stripes that Jesus Took on his back. Everything that he's suffered for us in our body, healing Falls because of what he has paid for us at 6.

first 14 says, May, I never boast?

Except in the cross of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. I love how it says it in the NIV just stay right there because I will never brag. About anything except across.

1st Corinthians. Chapter 1 verse 18 says, For the message of the cross. Foolishness to those who are perishing. But to us who are being saved. It is what it is.

Take me back where I realize what power flows from.

Take me back. I'll try to remember what the message. Is that change and transforms lives. Take me back to where I realize got it. I reflect that. You would pay the ultimate price for me. Take me back to the place work. I understand that you paid the price that I can have healing in my body, take me back that all of my issues and then nailed to the cross and have been purchased and paid for.

The cross of Jesus.

II. Foundational Stone, I believe that is essential for our Christian. Faith is the blood of Jesus. I know we don't talk about that anymore. It's the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus signify Supreme offering of Christ.

The blood of Jesus about the blood of Jesus in the healing power.

Real free songs about the blood of Jesus washes us clean.

Sermons about the blood of Jesus covers Us that we can come into the very presence of God.

That's not well, that's what my grandma used to talk about.

Easter Easter sermon. Everyday life thing. Every once in awhile, I got to get taken back. I got to go back to that place.

Sinister the blood of Jesus, in which this new testament,

Became the foundational Truth for our lives because in the blood of Jesus, the Covenant of God was sealed and the grace of God in the mercy of God was released in our lives. The Bible regards to blood as a as a symbol in the source of life. Ephesians chapter 1, chapter 1, verse in him, we have Redemption.

Through what this Blood. Jesus forgiveness. Because of the work of Jesus in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

Hebrews chapter number 9. Verse 12 says He did not enter by means of the blood of goats or calves, but he in turn to the most. Holy Place, wasn't for her by his, what?

Eternal, Eternal Redemption for.

By the work of Jesus by, but what he did, he went into the holy place, but he, that's why we can always come into the presence of God. We can always get grace and mercy in our time of need.

That's why I love that word Eternal Redemption. That means if I messed up tomorrow. Does redemption mean? If I mess up the day after the tomorrow, that means they're still internal Redemption. Because it's not predicated upon what man feels Jesus is already done it, so that's why I can come in. I can get grace and mercy.

I'm so glad that Jesus paying for it and you didn't have to pay for it because you was at, listen.

There you go. Somebody. You already ahead of me.

You like listen, I'm giving you enough chances. I'll give you chance. After chance, after chance. After chance. I'm tired of this. You ain't getting no more. I'm through with you. It's over.

I'm tired of you. I'm tired of your mess.

I'm tired of this dumb stuff that you're doing.

But I'm so glad.

That it wasn't you or me. But it was Jesus. But he never grows tired. Never grows tired of forgiving us. He always will be mess up again. Begging for mercy. Begging for forgiveness. He said, that's okay. My, my son blood and pay for. He has Eternal Redemption when he comes in, and he repented.

I'm so glad that it was Jesus. I did it. You know, I am prone to mess up some stuff. And I'm prone to mess up.

Others have said, man, is 1 times, 2 many, but I'm thankful that God doesn't say that for us. First John, chapter 1 verse 7 says this, but if we are living in the light. As God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other and the what Jesus, his son cleanses us. From all sin.

Hebrews chapter 9 verse 22 says, in fact. The law requires that, nearly everything be cleansed by the blood. It would have to shutting up blood. There is no forgiveness.

What we coming here today? That's what we can preach to someone else about God's grace and mercy regardless of whatever they may have done. We can know that can't wear God out and you can't send so big that God won't forgive you, that the blood of Jesus won't forgive you. That's the message that we have to share with this world. It takes away the sting of trying to be perfect because God knew that you could be perfect and I can't be perfect. He knew that that have to be a sacrifice that will cover the sins.

The third stone that our faith is built upon. Is a resurrection of Jesus.

Is the very heart of the Gospel?

Power of the holy spirit is he is here to help us in our lives. I don't care where we're at 2nd. There is three stones. I don't care what we're coming out of. And what we're, we're, we're going at least three stone. Are here in our lives. He's a memorial stone. Jesus places that we can turn and we can look at the cross and not just from a fashion standpoint.

We'll just look at the crosses of fashion wear. It means something. If you don't know what you have a cross around your neck. Bless you if you do, but it's more than just having it around your neck. It means something. It means that somebody has paid a price for you and you have victory. I know we don't normally have something work. We're walking around with a blood stain copper and cup of in there. But you know, that would be a little weird if we were to do something like that. But what about the blood of Jesus?

His blood cleanses me my heart and purifies my mind. It's just blood. That gives me the ability that I can say that. I know I messed up, but that's okay. If God has forgiven me because he's a forgiving God. And his son is paid the price. So I can come into the presence of the

It only up to ever feel. I don't have to ever feel so you don't ever have to feel that you need anything because the blood of Jesus from you as well as the clean. Somebody else.

Got the same blood that you need to cover. Use the same blood that they need to cover them. So don't let nobody fool. You want to think they're more holy than you are.

You can stand the next, anybody else? Because he said in the presence of God. Foundational. The last one is here is the song. If We Had it, we would have it here. About the resurrection.

1st Corinthians chapter. 15 verse 1 says it like this is as my brothers and sisters. I want to remind you of the Gospel. I preach to you which you received and what you now have taken your stands for about you taking a stands. This is right. Now that you taken your sent by this gospel, you are saying if you hold firm to the word, I preach to you. Otherwise,

you have believed in vain.

For what I received, I passed on to you. As of the first importance that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures. That he was buried. What did you get this? They was risen on the third day, according to scripture. Foundational truth. Does he died? And he he was very what it, what was filmed at a hole in it. Can you put the stone back up that the part that shows the, the, the, the tomb and the stone being rolled away. The reason why we stand today is because I got high.

Foundation, the reason why we're here today because our God is not dead. I know they made a made a movie out of the reason why we're able to stand and breathe and walk and talk and do the things that God has called us to do this, because I'm alive, and he still moving, and he's moving on the inside of us and he's living on the inside of us. Thank God. I was so he raised him from the dead in the same power that raised Jesus from the dead bodies. It's the same power. Foundational for our face. It's the foundation for us to be able to do the works of Christ. Because if we don't have the wrong Mike and we don't have the right mindset never doing the works of Christ.

We can talk about it all. We want to. We can run all we want to wait until we get a better down in our hearts and our minds and our souls who we are in Christ Jesus. And the work that Jesus has already paid for us as a body of Believers and individuals to do the gray ones that he called us. Give me spoken for us to do it. How do I do it? It wasn't just because a man died. It wasn't because of man.

Every once in awhile.

every once in awhile Church, In the future, but I have to remember, what what he's already done for me in the past.

I can't remember what he's already, proved. What he's already provided for me. If I don't believe that, if Christ has not risen from prison from the dad. What I'm preaching. Paula say, it's a lie, there is fruit.

If you had not rejected out of the grave.

I'm saying the Jesus rolls.

Your faith is in vain.

You've got to believe these things, though.

That Jesus was in the grave.

Victory.

The grips of the enemy is the same power.

Quicken my body. Let me see the same power that lives on the inside of me in quick and My Dead Body. Help me overcome. He raises me above.

Give me the victory. Power of the enemy under my feet is just not a song that I seen. What is the reality that I can walk in? When I understand the truth of God's word?

This on the inside of me and so do all of us looks like regular nothing special, but I'm telling you, we understand that is that deep down within the speech about, there's a God. There's a live in the goddess living on the inside of you.

Almost every time if you didn't get up and everything that were saying everything would just be alive at work inside of each, one of us in that powers, real and tangible.

And every once in a while.

Talk about.

Every once in awhile, we'll talk about Deliverance.

For once in awhile. We'll talk about God will open up the door.

Talk about God will give victory. We'll talk about, God will give you Joy in the midst of your sorrow. We'll talk about God, welcomes the storms in your life. We'll talk about God will give you strength.

We'll talk about the wisdom of God that will be imported into your life. We'll talk about Jordan.

Talk about spiritual gifts.

We'll talk about loving God with all of your heart.

Equally. We don't understand the work of the cross. The blood of Jesus.

Got the way that all of those things come to pass. Cuz of what Jesus is already done. He's alive today Church.

You still breathing on the inside of us? Still moving through allies. I want to take us back to homework. So God, that is so real today. He's so loving today. So full of grace and mercy. but every once in awhile,

come back to those pages of my Bible.

That's been underscored a couple times. If it had not been for Jesus.

Where would I be?

If it had not been for Jesus.

Dunwoody.

It had not been for him.

I was still open and stared through the lies of the enemy. Buddy price.

Father, I think you today.

Thank you. Thank God for price that you paid.

Latches for select few.

but for all mankind,

Thank you for.

We don't think that we have outgrown.

Amateur be on talking about that Old Rugged Cross.

Recognize understand.

Power of God.

Transforming Our Lives. Healing Our Lives. I prayed a lot for every person here today. But they have their memorial stones.

Established.

Jesus name I pray, amen.

Come on, let's dance together.
