Jesus was invited to a wedding. Wine is short supply. Things got better.

I. Because of Jesus' Presence, vv. 1-2; Genesis 2:18; Acts 10:36; I Corinthians 6:19-20; Revelation 3:20.

He was available.

II. Because of His Mother's Petition, vv. 3-4; Job 14:1; John 16:33: Ecclesiastes 2:23; Hebrews 4:15; Philippians 4:6-7.

He was asked.

III. Because of Jesus' Prescription: vv. 5-8:

Come--Matthew 11:28.

Cast--I Peter 5:7.

Trust--Romans 8:28.

Believe--Acts 16:31.

He was adhered to.

IV. Because of Jesus' Power, vv. 9-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Revelation 19:7; Hebrews 7:25.

He was able.
