I would love to be a church that teaches the next generation God’s truths. And the biblical truths related to finances and money.
To have generations of believers that are financially sound to take care of their families and fund the work God wants do on this earth.
9 The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.
NO margin hard to be generous.
7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
Slave to the lender.
5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
20 The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.
You need an emergency fund.
23 Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds;
We have to know were we stand financially.
20 A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
14 For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.
Do you have an entrusted adviser to help guide you and your finances?
7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Make all you can, save all you can, give all you can. John Wesley
35 They should collect all the food of these good years that are coming and store up the grain under the authority of Pharaoh, to be kept in the cities for food. 36 This food should be held in reserve for the country, to be used during the seven years of famine that will come upon Egypt, so that the country may not be ruined by the famine.”
10 Do not trust in oppression, Nor vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them.
28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? 29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
This a great verse on margin.
1 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” 2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” 3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”
2 Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.
22 A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.
5 It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.
