As we’ve been learning the moral lesson of the book is not “what is the point?” but that nothing has value if not done in the context of worship to God. God who created us is the one that adds real value to our lives.
Message
Corruption and social prejudice cannot thrive in any society without the support of the governing power of the society.
They allow it because they profit from it albeit directly.
However, as Christians, there are definite ways we are called to respond to social injustice.
What are the practical ways we can this out
Isa 58:6-7
Free the oppressed
Share your food with the hungry
Give shelter to the homeless
Give cloth to those who need them
Don’t hide from your relatives who need help.
Luke 10:30-37
When we do this Jesus says we do it to Him
Proverbs 19:17 we are reminded that when we give to the poor we give to God.
