They put the magic box to go before them, but a generation later they forgot that the magic box failed and devotion to God saved them

They want a king to go for them just the same even though it will be no different

what is it in your life that you believe is saving you or contending for you?

there is no magical thing that will make your life good and your heart content in this world

there is a kingdom with a king who offers something far better
