Renewing Our Minds

Introduction - We are birthed into the world head first. We begin life with our head.

Romans 12:1–2 NKJV

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Stop waiting for outside change. God changes us on the inside so we can change the outside.

Control your thoughts.

Cast down vain imaginations

think on these things.

Set your mind on the things above

Meditate on the word day and night - Josh 1:8; Psalm 1:2

Fill your mind with what you want. Our heart controls most of what we do. Our mind influences our heart.

As a man thinketh in his heart so shall he be

Salvation occurs because we believe in our heart

Guard your heart for out of it flow the issues of life

Trust the Lord with all your heart - Prov. 3:5-6

Obey from the heart

God looks at the heart

Abundance of the heart the mouth speaks -

Confess what you believe not what you feel

Resist Negative thought and assist Godly ones
