The love of my aunt
The love of my aunt
the hard work she put in
how that when uncle would go to Florida doing the harvest season to make money to provide for his family
Aunt which stay in Brinkley and take care of the kids while he was away
She was the type of woman that would do what was necessary to make sure that her children had what they need
She would also on different occasions keep me from getting whippings from my uncle
One of the things that really touched me in the later years was her willingness to take my mom in to her home after that she had contracted cancer and my mom lived out her last days with her sister
That's the kind of love that we as a family should have for one another it is not time to be self-serving or to try to be the light of the party but it's time to love each other, support each other and help one another in the time of need
I chose this story about Joseph
you can find this story in gen 37:1-41:1-42
gen. 39: 14-20 she lied about Joseph about how he tried to sleep with her and potiphar
two years in prison made friends with the baker and butler he had to go through so that he could see the other side of the blessing
Joseph was faithful to his call and his God
Aunt Bernice was faithful to her God so she endured the heart aches, pain and suffering while She kept her eyes on the prize
I saw many of the struggles but her best hope was in Jesus Christ
all of the pain, the suffering
