Giving that brings Advantages

Advantage - circumstances that puts a person in a favorable position. benefits, value, gain, reward, profit.

Paul is teaching on the Theology of Giving. He is encouraging the people of God to trust God with their gifts. The believer has several advantages when we give God whats right.

1st We Have An Enabler: Vs.8 And God is Able

Enabler - is someone that makes something possible.

Able - (dynatos) - having sufficient power, skill or resources to accomplish a thing. Hes capable.

2 Tim 1:12 He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.”

Acts 20:32 ““So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up.

Eph 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”

Rom 4:21 “and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”

Jude 1:24 “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,”

2nd We have an Endorser - Vs.8 to make all grace abound toward you.

a supporter, an upholder, an advocate

An endorser is someone who pays you to represent them and their product. to be the face of the company.

3rd We have Enough; Vs8 That you, always having all sufficiency in all things.

Sufficiency - enough to meet one’s need; everything you need

4th We have to Execute; Vs8 May abound to every good work.

God encourages us to perform this work of charity in the manner directed.
