Playing with God is the most common and most dangerous trap that those who are connected to God can fall into. Playing with God is the attempt to use your connection to God to derive the benefits of his presence, provision, power, or promises without surrendering to his lordship. The consequence of this is the ongoing authoritative presence of sin and darkness. Without true surrender to the lordship and indwelling presence of Christ, we face the darkness on our own.
