Hebrews 4:12 AMP

Cognitive Dissonance

The state of having inconsistent beliefs, thoughts - beliefs or attitudes - especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.

Basically lack of agreement - in conflict with self

The dissonance between the Truth and what people want to believe.
