In this parable of the Householder's Vineyard, Jesus reveals once more the condemnation that awaits the religious leaders who are represented by the husbandmen of this story. Here Jesus exposes them not only for what they have done, but also what they are about to do. It is now the fifth instance in which Jesus prophesies His death and provides details beforehand to prove His deity.
