In the kingdom their are no lost causes. Everyone is redeemable.
In the kingdom their are no lost causes. Everyone is redeemable.
Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, “Have everyone leave my presence!” So there was no one with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers. And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh’s household heard about it.
Joseph always longed to be with his brothers. As a child he would run behind them then tattle on them to their father.
All the years Joseph sat their in Egypt analyzing his brothers actions and their behavior. The reality was that his brothers were hardened by the sin and family dysfunction that they were raised in.
Their mothers were the second choices unloved by their father. They in turn were enlarge unloved by their father.
Joseph in his solitude must have resigned himself to the fact that his brothers were lost causes.
But then here they are in front of him, laying down their lives in unity for their brother. If Benjamin stays we stay.
Joseph sees this transformation and he is shattered by the power of God. He kicks everyone out of the room except his brothers and he proceeds to weep.
My friends today I want to remind you that all things are possible with Christ. Even the most hardened broken hopeless cases can be transformed by the power of God.
When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Never give up on Jesus Church. He is your salvation! If he can redeem Jacobs sons he can redeem anyone!
In Christ your greatest pain can become your greatest testimony!
In Christ your greatest pain can become your greatest testimony!
Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still living?” But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence. Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.” When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!
We see here that God has taken this families greatest Sin and redeemed it and has turned it into their greatest miracle.
What a God we serve! He takes our broken messed up lives and repairs and restores them. Hallelujah!
yoou and I can be restored today! Just like Joseph and his brothers.
Do you have family issues? I guarantee you that you family issues don’t even begin to touch Josephs.
These brothers not only sold their own brother into slavery, but they also murdered their sisters fiance. Judah slept with his daughter in law. They lied they cheated. this family was messed up, but again through the crushing of Joseph, the family was restored.
Through Christ today your family Can be restored!
Do not allow regret to distract from the grace of God!
Do not allow regret to distract from the grace of God!
And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will be no plowing and reaping. But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. “So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.
You don't Understand God was in this. He knew your hearts and used them for His glory.
Regret Not! For God is Great!
Now Joseph is not excusing their actions but he is reminding them that God is ultimately the authority. And that He is so magnificent that He was able to turn their greatest Sin into a a testimony for His Salvation.
