Can we ban gay clubs from school by protesting?

The short answer is probably so… but is that the correct way to do it?
If you protest to ban the gay clubs what would stop anybody from protesting to ban FCA, Club 37, or FISH?
Also if you protest to ban the clubs what exactly does that show a lost world what we truly think of them? It may come across as hating a group of people. It may come across as lack of compassion. It may come across as being arrogant.
I am not saying that there should be a gay club on the campus but I am saying that the way you go about wanting it to stop is more beneficial than drastically stopping the club.
When we look at scripture we see that Jesus dealt with a ton of people that were actively living in sin but he did not go about it through protesting their cause but rather showed them grace with truth.
Luke 10:25–29 NLT
25 One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: “Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?” 27 The man answered, “ ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” 28 “Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you will live!” 29 The man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
Luke 10:37 NLT
37 The man replied, “The one who showed him mercy.” Then Jesus said, “Yes, now go and do the same.”
The way that we should go about gay clubs at the school should be through showing the Christ through love and mercy by treating them like our neighbor. We are called to minister to those around us and lead them to Christ rather than away from him. If we go about protesting a club at school you could probably get it canceled but through protesting it you are most definitely going to turn them away from Christ.
Show them grace and truth through out your day at school. They instantly know that what we believe is completely contrary to their lifestyle and bashing them is not going to bring them to salvation.

Is Obesity a Sin?

First of all lets state that obesity in itself is not a sin because some people are genetically obese regardless of how much they eat or not. So don’t go around fat shaming people.
However, Gluttony is a sin. Which means that over eating and not controlling your appetite is a sin. The reason that it is a sin is due to the fact that it shows lack of self-control. If we are giving ourselves over to food continuously then we are sinning because we are eating just to eat. This is what happens when you have already eaten and are full but then decide to eat some more because it taste good.
1 Corinthians 6:12–14 LEB
12 All things are permitted for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be controlled by anything. 13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach for food, but God will abolish both of them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God both raised up the Lord and will raise us up by his power.
Paul compares sexual immorality to gluttony because both sexual immorality and gluttony happened due to the lack of Self-control. We are to be people of self-control. This is not to say that we cannot eat food. That would be stupid but we are not to overindulge in food to the point in which it is controlling us. The issue is that we should not be controlled by anything other than God.

3. Why are most preachers male?

First of all lets define this question. If you are asking why all pastors are males then there is some biblical evidence for that but if you are asking why all “preachers” are males then that is incorrect.
But lets first look at why most pastors are males.
1 Timothy 3:1–7 NLT
1 This is a trustworthy saying: “If someone aspires to be a church leader, he desires an honorable position.” 2 So a church leader must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach. 3 He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money. 4 He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. 5 For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church? 6 A church leader must not be a new believer, because he might become proud, and the devil would cause him to fall. 7 Also, people outside the church must speak well of him so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the devil’s trap.
The role of a pastor is reserved for men due to each gender being gifted in certain roles.
Whenever God created man and woman he made both of them unique with unique gifts to be used. These separate gifts are by no means making either gender subordinate to the others.
Men are gifted in leading and shepherding.
Men are called to love and protect their wives.
Women are gifted in nurturing and supporting.
Supporting makes it seem as if they go along with everything the man says but this is quite different. Breanna supports me and encourages me but she is not second class in my marriage.
I value her support and want her to be active in decisions in our marriage.
Biblically though pastors are set apart as a male position in the church because they are overseeing the direction and leading God’s people.
This is not at all to say that women are second class citizens within the church by any means.
All people are called to share the Gospel.
Mark 16:15 NLT
15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
This is the great commission in Mark given to all disciples. A disciple is a follower of Christ.
The word preach comes from greek word kerysso meaning to proclaim.
Women are called to preach God’s Word.
There are also other instances throughout scripture where women preached God’s Word and were instrumental in the progressing of the Church.
Romans 16:1 LEB
1 Now I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is also a servant of the church in Cenchrea,
Acts 18:26–28 LEB
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained the way of God to him more accurately. 27 And when he wanted to cross over to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, he assisted greatly those who had believed through grace. 28 For he was vigorously refuting the Jews in public, demonstrating through the scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.
This is a point in which where a woman went about and corrected the theology of a person who was a new believer. Women are not called to be silent in the church but should understand that the role of pastor, elder, or whenever the bible state qualified man.
Women should be ministering and using their gifts to further the kingdom of God. If you are able to lead a club at your school do it and do it well!
Women should be empowered by the church to use their gifts to lead people to Christ.
Men and Women are absolutely equal in essence, dignity, and value and are complementary by divine design. Gender does not merely represent a social construct but, instead, represents a reality present in every human from birth. Men and Women are not interchangeable.
