CAPACITY

capacity- the maximum amount that something can contain. The ability to receive or contain it is the maximum amount or number that can be received or contained. To increase your capacity you must take it beyond your current ability. Capacity is measure by what hold, and receive. It reflects your potential, your resourcefulness.

Psalms 34: 4-6 “I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.”

BEFORE GOD GIVES US SOMETHING. HE CHECKS WHETHER WE HAVE THE CAPACITY TO HANDLE IT

LEARN TO EXPECT MORE, AND PREPARE FOR MORE

GET RID OF SMALLNESS MINDED THINKING, AND REASONING. SMALLNESS IN THE MIND PREVENTS US FROM ACHIEVE THE BEST THAT GOD HAS FOR US.

LIMITS THE GREATNESS OF GOD

SOMETIMES MY CAPACITY TO HAVE MORE OF GOD IS HINDER BY CLUTTER

PROVIDE THE SPACE FOR SOMETHING NEW, AND GREATER

Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

Isaiah 54:2 ““Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!”

Stretch my thinking, increase my understanding, enlarge your capacity by believing something that seems impossible like Abraham who left the familiar, Noah who built an ark it never rain, David who killed a Giant with rock, and a sling

Enlarge- means to grow large, to make more room, increase, to expand, occupy new territories, go further

We should be to the place where desire expansion for, from God.

YOUR SPIRITUAL HUNGER DETERMINES WHAT YOU CAN HOLD

STRETCHING- GOES PASS OUR CURRENT LIMITS

DO HOLD BACK- OVERCOMING FEAR- PUSH FORWARD

DRIVE THE STAKES DEEPER BY INCREASING YOUR FAITH

Are we stopping the blessing from flowing?

2 Kings 4: 6 “Soon every container was full to the brim! “Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons. “There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.”

As long as she had the jars the capacity to hold the oil the blessing flow.

So if she had more jars a greater capacity to receive the oil would have continue flowing.

As our capacity increases so does the blessing flow in your life.

DON’T MISCALCULATE THE BLESSING OF GOD

HE WILL FILL US TO THE EXTENT OF OUR AVAILABLE CONTAINER

Psalm 31: 8 “You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place.”

Luke 6:38 “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.””

So as the capacity to give is expanded so is the capacity to receive

Psalm 81:10 “For it was I, the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things.”
