Exodus 14:10–15 ESV
When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.” And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.
When I was praying about this Mornings message, sometimes it is hard to distinguish between what I need from the Lord and as the body, what we need from the Lord.
The Lord is always good even we do not understand.
Hebrews 13:8
Hebrews 13:8 ESV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
We have a lot in common with the Israelites as they left Egypt. Everything was about to change. It was scary. There was a lot of details unknown. The plaques and destruction were difficult to watch. But God had much bigger plans than setting them free from slavery. Freedom from slavery was only the beginning, not the ending. These people had no idea what the future would be. Where would they go? What future would be for their children? Would they be picked off by one of the other groups of people on the other side of the desert? Or would they go out into the desert to just die?
This morning, we stand on a similiar precipice. What will the future look like for us? What will my future look like? There are some pretty big shoes to fill. So in a sense, this is like vision casting Sunday. I want to share what l believe the future is going to be for Northside Assembly.
Job 37:5 “God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.”
The Lord has great plans for Northside. Plans that we can not even in imagine because it would blow our minds. Plans that we would say would be imagine.
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

How we handle these new changes will affect a lot of the future.
John 11:17-20 “Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off, and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother. So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house.”
We can choose to isolate ourselves and shut down like Mary, which is easier. Or we can choose to seek out the master like Martha. I choose to seek out the Master.
We need to continue to seek out the Master individually and corporately in order for us to be effective where God has placed us.
