29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

The Meaning of the Anointing
The anointing Is the Holy Spirit taking HIS place as aboslute Lord in
the anointing carries with it the absolute lordship of the Holy Spirit
that is why when Jesus was baptized He allowed himself to be subjected to the death and buriel of every other Lordship -
Jordan’s grave set aside every other lordship
Jesus never acted independently - He adhered to the Holy Spirit’s subjection which is what the anointing is
He could nothing apart from His Father -
I speak not from myself
The works that I do are not my own - the Father abiding me doing His works
the Positive side of the anointing - The Father Only -
the Negative side - we are imprisoned ino the lordship of the Spirit of God
so that there can be nothing if He doesn’t Do it NOTHING
that isn’t pleasant experience - if the natural life is strong and in any way in the ascendant
When ONE turns - makes the Lord the object -
Lordship and Subjection
putting alongside or after it -
He is the pre-eminient one - supreme -
gives value to everyone who comes after - we get the benefit of that value that comes from being subjected to HIS LORDSHIP
The First Lesson
His Nature - Is Divine ours is HUMAN
very very different
competing in fact - we can live in a self assuredness with a sense of right judgement - but that always needs to be submitted to Christ - to His Word
we can be outwardly christian - which can only work for so long -
we need to be the other type where we have allowed Christ to get inward - where there has been a submission of our hearts - we put on the nature of Christ - and who we are on the inside begins to show outwardly and it isn’t a show it’s real - it’s genuine -
