Tested In A Storm - Part II

And the same day, when the even was
come, he saith unto them, let us pass over
unto the other side. Mark 4:35 (KJV)
36 And when they had sent away the
multitude, they took him even as he was
in the ship. And there were also with him
other little ships. Mark 4:36 (KJV)
37 And there arose a great storm of wind,
and the waves beat into the ship, so that it
was now full. Mark 4:37 (KJV)
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship,
asleep on a pillow: and they awake him,
and say unto him, Master, carest
thou not that we perish? Mark 4:38 (KJV)
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind,
and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And
the wind ceased, and there was a great
calm. Mark 4:39 (KJV)
We are invited to sail in a
storm. That’s our invitation. To get in a
storm, to get involved in a storm. To pick
up your storm and your cross.
In a storm, you will be tested!
However, it is always the interest of
Jesus Christ for us to make it to the other side.
Understand that you’re going to have to be
disciplined by the discipline of Christ.
When you become a child of God, you’re
going to meet immediate storms.
The storm of loneliness.
Anybody whom God has told to go over, never goes under!!!
When you’re storm tested, with confidence in the captain, storms do not create disarray in your discipline.
God never gives you a vision, without making provisions!
But most storms don't last long, unless you prolong the storm by not calling the one who calmed the water.
If you want God to act in your life, you’ve got to act first.
