Kingdom in the Workplace

Titus 2:9–10 (ESV)
Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.
Thus far in this epistle, Paul has addressed expectations for six groups of people . Today, Paul addresses another group, SLAVES.
Slaves no doubt were a part of the culture of the ancient Greco-Roman society. Slavery then was not like that of that of American history.
The NT attitude toward slavery indicates that the status of the slave was more like that of a servant and that the institution of slavery generally was declining.
Our Society does not have slavery as part of the social construct, today. We do however have employers, jobs and occupations.
Yes, even on our jobs we are required to be Christians.
DT: When we demonstrate Christian values on our jobs God is glorified.
Aim: We will exhibit respect for our employers and co-workers.
