To walk in wisdom

don’t step in a pile of foolishness- avoid things that are foolish and
REDEEM THE TIME- don’t miss an opportunity to be Jesus to those around you
UNDERSTAND THE THE WILL OF GOD- BE in Gods word.
Have any of you noticed that we have pretty much doubled in size since we as a Wednesday night group committed to praying for God to fill this auditorium on Sundays?
Isn’t that amazing what God is doing-
When we started we asked what it would take to fill 120 seats in the auditorium (full.)
With 30 of us here it meant we each needed to invite 4 people to join us at church to reach 120.
Do you realize that we have had over 100 different people come to our church this year, and 85 different people have come more than once.
GOD is using you to reach people for Jesus in this community
one way that we as church can walk in wisdom is to faithfully share Jesus with the lost.
This coming Sunday is going to be all about the gospel- Its about our relationship with God before Christ and in Christ.
So tonight what i want us to do is to spend plenty of time praying for this weekend and praying for God to open many peoples eyes and to save them through the ministry of our church this coming Sunday.
For us to do this well lets begin out time together by just ready Scripture.

Scripture on Salvation

Acts 26:18 “to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’”
Romans 10:1 “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God on behalf of my fellow Israelites is for their salvation.” 1 Tim. 2:1-6 “First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior, since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.” 2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” Matthew 9:37-38 “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”” 1 John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 2 Timothy 2:25-26 “correcting opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance and then knowledge of the truth and they will come to their senses and escape the devil’s trap where they are held captive to do his will.”
Eph. 6:19-20 “Pray for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speak—that I may confidently make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.”
John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.”
