Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were uprooted from their homes where their faith was safe and relocated to Babylon, where their faith was rejected.
Convenient faith is not real faith.
We have been in a place in our nation’s history for quite some time now where Biblical morals and values are no longer convenient.

As the culture of the world changes around us, we are being:
...taught a new language
...encouraged to adopt new philosophies
...and to redefine who we are and what we identify as.
All it takes is for one generation to be changed by a changing culture for the next generation to be completely assimilated and transformed.
3) Faith must be determined to withstand challenges.

We must be “resolved that we will not defile ourselves with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drinks.”
We need to decide and to decide quickly, who we are and on what foundation we stand.
The ways of the world are growingly incompatible with biblical standards, but biblical standards will always carry us through this world.
