In this week’s study the context can’t get better. We’re placing ourselves in the trouble, hustle, panic, and anxiety of disciples fearing for their lives. Real people struggle with trouble in the soul- even Jesus. If there’s anything the New Testament teaches about a troubled soul, it is that it is an integral part of the human experience. One Jesus took a part in. Not one he avoided, or skipped over because he was God, but one he engaged in and experienced directly.
